Ridgeway Dental

SMS and this assistant

The same front desk, on your own number

This page shows the half of a text channel that is actually hard: an assistant that knows the practice's own prices and appointment types, holds a slot as a structured booking, and reads a signed-in patient's own visits back without asking them to recite a date of birth.

1. Point the assistant at your site so your own prices, appointment types and policies become the answers it gives, as published content rather than a re-typed copy. 2. Expose the book as a small MCP server: the slots you are willing to offer, a lookup by reference and email, and a read that only answers for the signed-in person. 3. Give the booking tool an action card with a real slot picker, so a time is chosen in one tap rather than negotiated over six messages. 4. Wire the identity hand-off so a returning patient is recognised and their own appointments answer without them typing anything they have typed before. 5. Connect the number last, once the answers are right — the channel is the easy half, and it inherits everything above unchanged.
